I tried to follow the pattern for the yellow chick and was a bit disappointed when I couldn't figure it out how to stitch the nose to the face so that it appears neatly done. As I am a beginner in amigurumi I will probably try to do the panda as there is a very detailed photo explanation of how to stitch the panda nose.
Still, overall I find the pattern fun and worth giving it a try.

great idea to be able to make a doll for the granddaughters. Than the dolls are washable, just wash in the washer and dry in the dryer and the doll is clean again so they get a clean doll
What a great collection of patterns. The little friends are so cute!! Simple to follow instructions and pictures make this easy for even a beginner create. I found the instructions for how to make the nose and mouth very helpful.

Great book...patterns only LOOK hard but they're not...take it just one step at a time and you'll be fine...only requires 1 stitch, sc (single crochet). A great, portable project requiring minimal supplies..... a crochet hook, some yarn and "eyes". Made the first one at my granddaughter's request (she's 24!!!) and, after one, it became addictive! You're just going to make one....and then, well, maybe just one more...and then pretty soon you're checking into Amigurumi Anonymous!
